On May 19, 2022, Melissa was honored at the annual Dutchess County Bar Association Law Day Luncheon, where she was a co-recipient of the Amee VanTassell Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. The award is given each year to attorneys recognized by their peers for their civility and professionalism, service to the Bar and community, as well as a commitment to pro bono service. In accepting her award, Melissa reaffirmed her commitment to hard work, integrity and professionalism, and extended her thanks to several colleagues, family and friends who have provided her with invaluable mentorship, support and guidance.
